My intentions for the making day are to explore some of the ideas that I spoke about with Les in the tutorial this week.  Thinking along the idea of the trace dance, I’m intending to explore gridlines and invisible connections between images and people. The purpose of this is more about displaying of work and the viewers encounter. I am also going to explore drawing on a reasonably small scale to create a series of pieces which I can experiment with. I’m planning to place them on different locations on the wall, my ideas being based on graphic design layout compositions. I’m going to explore folding techniques, linking to narrative which are possible surfaces for display. Hopefully, I will be off to upload images of my experiments as I go through the day. If not, I will add them when I get back.
